Nature & Sightseeing Tours

Nature and Sightseeing Tours are two very different kinds of trips. Read the details and pick the one that most interests you.

Both Nature & Sightseeing Tours are learning and experience oriented. Travel with our naturalist on the road and on foot to explore Rocky Mountain National Park from it’s grassy meadows, mountain forests, and amazing tundra. Our naturalist will guide you to those special places most folks pass by or point out things most people would never notice.

Each trip is customized to your interests, we can discuss and focus on anything from seeing a waterfall, or just roaming the meadows looking for cool plants or birds. Nature's stories are amazing and all over, all you need to do is have someone point them out and you will never see the world the same. Our naturalist is well versed in Rocky Mountain National Park's wildlife, birds, flowers, geology, local history, and much much more.

Visit spots along the park's roads and trails, and look at them with the trained eye of an experienced naturalist. This is much more fun and educational then just driving, stopping, looking for a moment, and moving on. We will dive into the details of the park and what makes it tick, so you can truly appreciate the grandeur of what you see.

Sightseeing Tours (SUMMER SEASON ONLY) are more driving oriented so we see more of the park. On Sightseeing Tours we'll travel the same standard roads all guests can but our goal is to dive deeper in to natural history and science while getting to see the amazing beauty of the park. If you want to see some amazing sights and your willing to hike be sure to check out the Hiking Tours.

Nature Tours are more trail oriented to really get into the amazing details and stories mother nature holds. We never hike very far, there is just too much nature to see. We'll also drive to various locations in the park, but spend more time on the stories and topics that your most interested. The most important part of nature tours is for guests to ask questions and to learn more about what you are most intrigued with, as well as to open you up to some of the hidden wonders of nature.

We can focus on general nature topics like forest features, birds, geology, wildflowers, and ecology. You tell us what your interested in and that's what we'll do. You'll be amazed by all the cool facts you learn, and you will see Rocky Mountain National Park and nature in general in a whole new light.

Note: We can mix a Nature Tour with a Wildlife Tour. Let us know what your most interested in. Generally a 4 hour tour is recommended unless you have specific goals.
